Hotel Hot Water System

A large hotel was experiencing pin-hole leaks from the hot water pipes, at numerous points throughout the building. Frequent repairs could not stop new leaks arising at other locations. As the pipes were supplying water for kitchens and guests' bathrooms the situation was serious, and could not be prevented by adding corrosion inhibiting chemicals. Our experts identified the cause of the leaks as the phenomenon known as erosion-corrosion, and were able to apply control techniques to eliminate the problem.
